Credit checks are valuable for providing an unbiased look at your applicant’s sense of financial responsibility. The credit report will include items such as your credit accounts (bank card, auto loan, mortgage, etc.), the date you opened the account, your credit limit or loan amount, the account balance, and your payment history.
There will also be public record information from state and county courts, and if it exists – information on overdue debt from collection agencies.
Information on bankruptcies, foreclosures, suits, wage attachments, liens and judgements will also be included if it exists.
